Dungeon Reaper
A downloadable instrument
"Dungeon Reaper" is a collection of Reaper track presets that use the stock utility synthesizer and other stock Reaper plugins to create preset sounds to use in your music projects.
Thanks for downloading. To use these, either save them to your track template directory, drag and drop a “.RTrackTemplate” file into your REAPER session, or double click the file you’d like to use.
Here are some notes on individual instruments:
Dungeon Additive Piorgan: A simple additive sound created with multiple instances of ReaSynth.
Dungeon Brass: Relatively traditional synth brass. Velocity affects filter cutoff.
Dungeon Drawbar Organ: Individual instances of ReaSynth function as “Drawbars”.
Dungeon Drunken Poly: Complex routing multitimbral polysynth. Great for moving pads.
Dungeon FM: “FM” style synth. Adjust volumes of modulators to change timbre. Routing represents algorithms.
Dungeon Mini: Minimoog style bass patch. Aleister would be proud.
Dungeon Monkey Piano: Guybrush?!
Dungeon Mysterious Flute: Very simple lo-fi flute.
Dungeon Reaper Bass: Taurus style bass patch with stereo delay. Great if Tom Sawyer is in your adventuring party.
Dungeon Rotting Plucks: Very quick pluck sound. Cuts through rotting flesh like butter.
Dungeon String Machine: Unstable string cheese.
Dungeon Drums:
These are primarily meant to be used as one-shots in your DAW or preferred sampler, but I’ve also included a relatively detailed REAPER track template that I put together for my Dungeon Synth production. It should work on your machine assuming you keep track of the file path where you store the samples.
